Medium Pocketbook

This hand built ceramic piece uses a unique process where I press antique and contemporary textures into clay. The surface is hand painted with thinned out colored clay which allows for color to be imbedded in the surface. Another layer of color is added through the use of various glazes.
The ceramic handle has two straps, and clasp is round ceramic lady bug inspired ball.
